Last Sunday, for the first time, I got stuck in the lift. Reason: overloaded.
Basically, when I’m in there, there was not much to be done..I took out my phone, to type my thoughts at that time.
I typed: Today…12 of us got stuck in a 9 people lift. This is a consequence that we need to bare because of disobedient. When something great for God is going to take place, we are vulnerable to be at a spiritual battle. This time we allowed it to happen. We are in here for about 20-30mins. The feeling….Stupid!
The whole week of preparation for our dance retreat, many incidents had taken place that builds frustrations up to the extend of calling the retreat off. But God’s word was so powerful that He had already pre-emp both Sharon and I to stand strong. “The enemy come to kill, steal and destroy…”. We did everything we could to just pulllllll everybody back together and did this retreat because we believe God have drop this project thought strategically for us and the enemy just want to come and mess us up. AND he almost succeeded.
By the end of the retreat, the team are in unity and in faith AND excited to see how God is willing to use us for greater things for 2009. The team’s early christmas gift…
Ps: Those that are overseas….and those who you think you should be in the picture… PLEASE STAND UP!
Have you ever feel there’s something in this city/nation that you wish you could have done? At times, many times I do… for people around me, for myself…
I have a good sleep and woke up seeing Kristen looking back at me smiling rested in the morning and read “making vision stick” by Andy Stanley in one sitting.
5 things:
State the vision simply
Cast the vision convincingly
Repeat the vision regularly
Celebrate the vision systematically
Embrace the vision personally
Indeed increases my knowledge…
