Harvest Time After Project Dance Hong Kong 2008

I got an email from the founder of Project Dance and below is the part of the content. It humbles me being a part of a life changing experience… ________________________________________________________________________

Hi Cheryl and all lovely dancers of GOD! I would like to share how I experienced GOD’s destined harvest time after Project Dance Hong Kong. If you think this email would encourage any other dancers of GOD around the world, please feel free to forward. On Saturday at Times Square Hong Kong, after I was done with my performance, I went to the front of the stage as an audience member to watch the show. A girl named May appraoched me and introduced herself. She kept asking a lot of questions like,”you dancers have such a big passion.” “how can my life be just like yours?”

I and May had a nice chat about how we are Christians and we serve GOD by dancing. We also talked alot about the purpose of life. She went to church for a couple of years while she was very young, at primary school because her mother was a Christian. (something like middle school in the US) But she didn’t understand anything about our GOD or the Bible. Anything about Christianity was all brand new to her. It was very interesting when she asked me if I believed Jesus was real and how come I could be so sure.

I suggested, if she was in doubt, go home and pray to GOD, asking him to show her personally and directly if Jesus was real. At the end, I ended the conversation with a prayer with her. After a few days, She called me and said she would like to go to church. Her heart was already softend and was very attentive to every little detail about GOD’s word. She even asked me what a pastor was. The sermon preached today was about how GOD has a special plan for everyone of us and how we can forget the past, all the hurt and pain and have a brand new start in Christ. Something that rhymed with the little conversation I had with her on the concert day. I think GOD already planned this day for May. I was so confident Jesus would have her after the service.

At the end, she shed some tears and gave her life to Jesus and answered the alter call with a yes. She shared with me how GOD answered her prayer after the concert. She said she did go home and pray to Jesus, asking him to tell her he was real. Then for a couple of times after she prayed, she heard voices telling her “Yes I am here. I am real”. She said she was actually a bit scared to hear the voice. I reassured her that it was Jesus answering her prayer directly and personally.

I am writing this becos I want to tell everyone that is involved in Project Dance, “YES, DANCE CAN HEAL. DANCE CAN LEAD PEOPLE TO JESUS.”
