Sacrifices with Passion

November 25, 2007

There is a gift given…There is a sacrifice made to be where there are… there are steps of faith to believe.. there is passion to press on… Young people are just so amazingly potential… I was watching Arsenal’s victory match last night, Arsenal has lots of young awesome players…

I personally have been following quite a number of fusion productions for bout a year now, it’ve always been inspiring seeing young people (like me *ahem) having to much passion and energy to do what they love to do believing for a fulfilling outcome.

But the youngest person who inspired me best today is this person…

I would love to tell all the young ones out there…there is an assurance following with a responsibility…

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”- 1 Tim 4:12

Simple things in life…Pt 2

November 24, 2007

Just came back from a GREAT seafood dinner… haven’t had seafood- good seafood for a long time. Most of all what was awesome was spending time with friends who shares the same vision, sharing the differences of our personalities, complimenting each others weaknesses and synergying the strength, the laughters was just….nice… I would say it was a good hang out time for quite a long time…

Guess what we had after seafood? This!!

Just simple things in life that can make me smile… quality time with great people and fantastic finishing of sweetness….

Simple things in life…

November 24, 2007

Hey guys,

How are you guys up to lately? I was just reading this and it reminds me of some simple things in life I want to remember to thank God for:

  1. Had VIBE last night, we talked about our hopes for our future. Is good to think of it once a while so that we would stray too far from it. I was in a group of 6 just sharing and sealing our hope and dreams for our next 3-5 years asking God to do it greater…
  2.  Had dinner at this cool concepted place opposite ECFD with a friend whom i hadn’t catch up for a long time. At the same time, manage to have a few quick update with another friend who works there. oh! the place is called Pirates. The food is great too…
  3. Had a cutish friend who accidently made a spot check to my room (when m not home) and reminded me this…24-11-07_1434.jpg
  4. I lost my parking card for my office that might cause me a hundred bucks.. but i’m thankful it’s not my car that’s lost.
  5. Washed my car :)
  6. Astro is fixed tho it’s not full package. It’s fine!
  7. Going for Seafood tonight! yay!
  8. It’s weekend!

Love,

Nai Lin

Food Poisoning

November 21, 2007

Happily eating supper, my curry mee with clam last night. Commenting it is nice.. it is…

Nightmare begun when my stomach turned washing machined at 3 am, running to toilet, vomited half of the curry mee out and the other half, you know where it came out from… *ahem*… got an mc today, rested and worked from home… younger bro cook chicken porridge for me.

Manage to steal some time to chart the basketball camp in Dec, meet PC for wisdom and planning. Most of all , see doc….

Would you rather go to a clinic to full of people or empty clinic?

Yes! i’ll go for the empty one too.. so, i did… only realizing the clinic was a bit dodgy, with newspaper cuttings on health all over the place- really old ones, old paper white board…it really look like those serial killer house… at the paying counter written “fees are fixed”, at the door of the consultation room written “please off your phone” it’s funny that i didn’t walk out.

The room smell so medical but the doctor was friendly and was ask to be on the patient bed. how HE check my stomach? without asking, he lift up my shirt up to my ribs, I JUMPED! not scared… but just “nobody does that without permission”. he pressed my tummy over n over then pull my pants lower to get a spot on my tummy. I’m so glad my pants was the tying one… means my pants don’t go extra “miles” down when he did that! Good thing it didn’t last that long…. come to think of it.. i don’t even know if he’s really a doctor… i’m thinking twice if to eat the medicine! :(

BEST part was.. i think i got even more poison when i found out the medical and consultation fees is RM 57! given was 6 tablets for my gassy stomach, 3 stomachache tablet and 3 ORS.

Felt that i got poisoned twice! To my fellow doctors friends and doctors to be, please be the hope and light for sick patient to feel better or heal them… don’t poison them more or sicken their wallet more… BE A BLESSING!
